This monastery complex is the largest among the cave towns in Georgia. Wander through its refectories, sanctuaries, tunnels, and cellars and visit the Church of Assumption, a true monument to Georgian artistic culture.

Seeing the natural harmony of Svaneti
Svaneti is a place of towering villages harmoniously combined with huge mountains and cliffs. This area is especially impressive for nature admirers with alpine meadows and lakes, waterfalls, and a variety of endemic flowers.
Day 1: Arrival
Arrive in Tbilisi and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2: Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Gori - Uplistsikhe - Bakuriani
This morning we will start our jeep tour in Georgia.
We will travel to historical Mtskheta. Mtskheta is the ancient capital and religious centre of Georgia.
In Mtskheta, we will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Jvari Monastery built in the 6th century and the beautiful Svetitskhoveli Cathedral.
The Jvari Monastery offers an amazing panoramic view of the city at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers.
Later we visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, which is the largest historical building in Georgia among the survivors and leaves a great impression on the visitor.
Then we visit the Stalin Museum in Gori. The museum complex includes a memorial house where Stalin was born and spent his childhood, an exhibition building, and a private carriage.
Afterwards, we will visit the cave town, Uplistsikhe. Uplistsikhe was connected with the Silk Road, which passed here. It was one of the oldest settlements and urban centers in the Caucasus.
At the end of the day, we will stay in Bakuriani.

Day 3: Bakuriani - Tskhratskharo pass(2462m) - Tabatskuri Lake - Vardzia - Akhaltsikhe
On the way from Bakuriani to Tabatskuri we will pass Tskhratskaro pass, which has impressive views.
Then, we come to Tabatskuri Lake, which is a peninsula in the lake.
Afterward, we will visit Vardzia monastery complex, which is the largest among the rock-carved cities in Georgia and can be easily seen from afar.
The monument of Georgian artistic culture of the twelfth-thirteenth century is located in thirteen tiers.
Then we will settle in Akhaltsikhe.

Day 4: Akhaltsikhe - Goderdzi pass(2025m) - Batumi
Today we are going to Adjara region through Goderdzi Pass.
On the way, we will pass the beautiful villages of mountainous Adjara and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains, ancient stone bridges, and waterfalls.
Then we will settle in Batumi, which is the administrative centre of the region and the second city of Georgia.
Batumi is the best example of modern Georgia with its ancient port, beautiful seaside boulevard, old or new architectural buildings, European squares, and streets.

Day 5: Batumi - Zugdidi - Mestia
In the morning we will continue our way. We will visit Dadiani Palace in Zugdidi. Built-in the 17th century, the palace is now a state historical-ethnographic museum.
A continue trip to Svaneti, which can be considered the culmination of the tour.
This region is especially impressive for nature lovers with alpine meadows and lakes, cliffs, peaks, waterfalls, and a variety of endemic flowers.
In the evening we stay in Mestia, which is developed as a regional center compared to the villages of Svaneti, although the centuries-old towers retain it’s old look well.

Day 6: Mestia - Ushguli
After breakfast, we will drive to Ushguli, which is one of the most beautiful places in Svaneti.
Ushguli, surrounded by typical Svanetian towers, is included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The highest peak of Georgia “Shkhara” (5068 m) is proudly elevated in front of us. We will visit the 10th-century church of Lamaria, which is the best example of Svanetian architecture.
We walk to the tower of Queen Tamar, from where an unforgettable view unfolds.
We will spend the night in Ushguli.

Day 7: Ushguli - Zagaro pass(2642m) - Lentekhi
In the morning we leave the beautiful village and head to Lentekhi. This route is very beautiful and will make a special impression.
70km Off-road.
Day 8: Lentekhi - Zekari pass(2182m) - Akhaltsikhe
On the eighth day of the trip, we go through the Zekari Pass to the Javakheti region. The route is quite tiring but full of beautiful views and exciting adventures.
40km Off-road.
Day 9: Akhaltsikhe - Stepantsminda
In the morning we drive to Stepantsminda. We follow the Georgian Military Road, which is one of the most spectacular routes in Georgia.
On the way, we will stop at the colourful Zhinvali Reservoir and visit the beautiful Ananuri complex.
In the evening we will stay in Stepantsminda surrounded by mountains.

Day 10: Stepantsminda - Gergeti - Juta - Trusso valley - Stepantsminda
In the morning we will visit Gergeti Trinity Church (2170 m). With its special location and centuries-old history, it really represents the face of Georgia.
The snow-covered glacier (5054 m) gives a special charm to this place.
Then, we will reach the village of Juta (2165 m) through the beautiful Sno gorge.
Exotic Juta amazes visitors with its ancient way of life preserved to this day. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, Juta has been torn across the country for six months.
Then, we visit the beautiful valley of Truso.
This day spent in the wild ends in Stepantsminda.

Day 11: Stepantsminda - Tbilisi
We leave for Tbilisi in the morning.
We have free time in the afternoon for exploring the city.
Day 12: Departure
Transfer to the airport and departure.
