DAY 1 UK to Bordeaux.
Fly to Bordeaux, where you will embark your river cruiser. On board you can get to know your fellow travellers and the crew over cocktails and dinner.
DAY 2 Pauillac
Pauillac is a pretty port town located in the heart of the wine region. We'll head here today, sailing along the Garonne and Gironde Rivers and passing by the unique islands of Cazeau and Patiras en route.
This afternoon, why not join an optional excursion to the prestigious wine growing region of Médoc.
Home to around 1,500 vineyards, the area produces some of the world's most famous red wines. Enjoy entertainment on board the ship this evening, followed by a night in port.
DAY 3 Blaye.
Early this morning we'll cruise to historic Blaye, an area noted for its Côtes de Blaye red wines. Perhaps hop aboard a coach for an optional tour along the picturesque Corniche road, which runs alongside the Dordogne and offers scenic views. Look out for pretty gardens and the famous 'carralets' – fishermen's cabins that perch above the water.
We'll stop in the attractive village of Bourg, built on a rocky outcrop and surrounded by fascinating medieval ramparts.
Admire the UNESCO-listed citadel here before returning to Blaye via boat, passing by Meschers-sur- Gironde's steep cliffs and long beaches. An evening of dancing awaits on board our ship.
DAY 4 Libourne.
Our next port of call is Liborne, another great wine-growing region with a rich and colourful heritage. After arrival here, why not join an optional tour of the beautiful medieval village of St Émilion, renowned for its production of full-bodied red wines. We'll explore the village's intriguing underground monuments, discover the cave of Émilion, a Benedictine monk who gave his name to the village, and admire the largest monolithic church in Europe.
We'll also visit a family-run wine estate, where we'll learn about the stages of the wine-making process before enjoying a tasting session.

DAY 5 Bordeaux.
Bordeaux is one of the world's most famous wine regions, and we'll arrive here this morning.
The city is UNESCO-listed and you can discover its many architectural highlights on an optional excursion, from the stunning Grand Théâtre to the historic gems of the Saint Pierre district. A gala evening on board the ship is the perfect way to end our fantastic river cruise.
DAY 6 Bordeaux to UK.
You will disembark the ship this morning and transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
